Photo Print Sheet

Terms of Service

Android application: com.anderkontrol.photoprintsheet

Effective date:
Last updated:

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply between you and Anderkontrol – Michał Anderko (“Anderkontrol”, “we”, “us”, “our”) regarding your use of Photo Print Sheet for Android (the “App”). They apply to this App, not to all of our other applications, games or website services.

The App prepares a single-page PDF containing copies of one selected photograph, using your chosen sheet and layout settings. It is a local file-preparation tool, not a photo-hosting platform, a print shop or an official-document certification service.

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Our Privacy Policy explains the processing of information separately. Agreeing to these Terms is not consent to personalized advertising or Analytics.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for users aged 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian and subject to applicable law. Separate legal requirements for privacy consent continue to apply.

3. License to use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to download, install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

The App is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain rights in the software, interface, designs, text, names, logos and other materials we provide. These rights do not give us ownership of the photographs you select or your rights in the resulting PDF files. Any third-party or open-source components remain subject to their applicable license terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to use the photographs you select, including any rights of people depicted in them.

5. Advertising

The App is supported by ordinary rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. You choose whether to request an advertisement using the App’s reward control. It does not automatically show an ad when you select an image, edit a layout or request an export.

The App does not use banners, interstitials, rewarded interstitials, app-open ads or native ads. It does not add advertisements to the exported PDF.

Ad availability is not guaranteed. It depends on factors such as connectivity, the advertising service and the applicable privacy-permission state. You do not need to agree to Analytics or personalized advertising merely to retain or spend existing credits. Any ad that is requested must still be allowed by the separate advertising privacy rules.

6. Rewarded ads and credits

6.1 Earning and spending

6.2 Export charging and recovery

Selecting a destination in the system save picker does not itself complete an export. The App may reserve or deduct one credit when it starts the export operation and settles that charge after it has saved and checked the result. Canceling the destination picker before an export starts does not consume a credit.

If an export fails or is canceled after a credit has been reserved, the App’s refund/recovery mechanism is designed to return that credit once. A storage failure or an interrupted process can delay confirmation of the return; the App may report a pending recovery rather than a completed refund. A partial or empty output file can remain at the selected destination after a failed operation.

There are technical limits to recovery across an ad service, local storage and an external file provider. A crash before a reward has been saved can prevent it from appearing in the wallet. Keep the App’s success or recovery messages in mind and contact support about a discrepancy. These limitations do not remove any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

6.3 Offline use and local storage

Existing credits can be used offline to export a PDF when the image and destination are available locally. A cloud-storage provider or other external service may require its own internet connection. Earning new credits through rewarded advertising requires ad availability and normally requires internet access.

If no ad is available and your balance is zero, you can still prepare and preview a sheet, but you cannot export it until you obtain a credit. There is no alternative purchase or “No Ads” product in this version.

Credits and their transaction state are stored locally on your device. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be transferred to another person, app or device. The App does not offer account-based synchronization or a supported backup/restore mechanism for credits. Uninstalling it, clearing app data or changing devices can cause credits to be lost, and restoration is not guaranteed.

7. In-app purchases and subscriptions

The version of Photo Print Sheet covered by these Terms does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, a “No Ads” purchase or the sale of credits. It does not use Google Play Billing and does not ask you to provide payment-card details.

A future introduction of paid functionality would require its own clear description, applicable terms and disclosures before a purchase. These Terms do not authorize us to charge you for an undisclosed future purchase.

8. Credit refunds and external costs

A credit refund means restoration of an in-app export credit under section 6; it is not a cash refund. The App does not sell those credits.

Any charges for your internet connection, mobile data, cloud storage, a separate PDF viewer, printing or another service you choose are governed by that provider’s terms. Photo Print Sheet does not arrange or pay for physical printing. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.

9. Accounts

Photo Print Sheet does not require or provide an App account, login, online profile or hosted file library. App settings and credits are device-local. A Google account or other account you use with the store, advertising settings, email or a file provider is managed separately by that provider.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and keeping independent copies of important source photographs and saved files. The App does not provide a cloud recovery service for your work or credit balance.

10. Your photographs and PDF files

You retain your rights in the photographs you select and in your content within the generated PDFs, subject to any rights held by third parties. You must have the rights and permissions needed to reproduce, crop and use those images.

Selecting a photograph authorizes the App to read and process it locally to perform the operation you request, including making a working copy, preview and PDF. It does not grant us a license to host, publish, advertise with, promote our products with or sell your photograph or PDF.

The App creates a new output rather than modifying your source photograph. You control the save location and any later decision to provide the result to another app, a cloud provider, a printer or another person. You are responsible for checking that the file and the selected destination are appropriate before sharing or printing.

11. Third-party services

The App includes Google advertising and consent integrations, and uses Google Analytics for Firebase for basic automatic app-usage measurement only after your affirmative Analytics consent, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Google Play distributes the App, and you may separately choose third-party file-storage services, PDF viewers, browsers or printing services.

These providers’ own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party content, ads or services except where required by law. Relevant information is linked from our Privacy Policy. Google Play’s terms are available in the Google Play Terms of Service.

12. Updates, changes and availability

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the App, including supported devices, formats, limits or technical requirements. Changes may be needed for security, anti-fraud protection, platform rules, legal obligations or technical reasons.

Material changes to the credit model or advertising arrangements will be explained in updated terms or an appropriate in-app notice before they apply, except where an immediate change is necessary for legal, security or technical reasons. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

We do not guarantee that the App or third-party services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains local file processing, the local wallet, advertising and consent information, basic Firebase Analytics collected only after your affirmative consent, support communications, retention and your choices, including how to refuse or withdraw Analytics consent.

Accepting these Terms, requesting a rewarded ad or using an existing credit is not a substitute for any separate consent required for data processing.

14. Disclaimer of warranties and output limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We do not warrant that it will meet every expectation, be uninterrupted or error-free, support every device or image variant, or be available in every country.

14.1 Image layout and quality

The App’s scope is one JPG/JPEG or PNG photograph repeated on a single A4 or Letter page. The interface shows available settings and technical limits. Not every valid image variant, very large file, color profile or HDR image is necessarily supported. Image decoding and PDF generation may affect resolution, color or other visual characteristics.

Fit keeps the whole photograph inside the specified field without stretching. When its proportions differ from the field, the visible photograph can be smaller than the field. For example, a square in a 40 × 60 mm field appears as 40 × 40 mm.

Fill / center crop fills the field while clipping parts of the photograph. Inspect the preview and actual-dimension and resolution information. Cropping is not a guarantee of secure removal of hidden image content, and the App does not guarantee removal of all metadata.

14.2 Physical printing

The PDF’s specified dimensions do not guarantee the dimensions of a physical print. Results also depend on your PDF viewer, paper, printer, driver, margins and scaling settings. For intended-size printing, select the matching paper and use 100% / Actual size rather than “Fit to page”; check a sample with a ruler before relying on the result.

The App does not control every printer or guarantee acceptance of an image as a passport, identity-document, visa or other officially compliant photograph. You remain responsible for checking the receiving authority’s requirements.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers. In those cases these provisions apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and do not remove mandatory remedies.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, device failure, business interruption or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the App will not exceed the greater of:

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, violation of these Terms or violation of third-party rights.

This does not apply to claims caused by our own unlawful conduct or where such indemnity is not permitted by applicable consumer law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us using the addresses above so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.

If you are a consumer, you may have the right to bring claims in your country of residence under mandatory consumer protection rules. Nothing in these Terms limits such mandatory rights.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or by another reasonable method. Section 12 explains changes to the App’s operation.

Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means that you agree to those Terms only to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not replace any separate privacy consent or notice that the law requires.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be limited or replaced to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

20. Entire agreement

These Terms and any applicable App-specific notices shown before use of a feature form the agreement between you and us regarding use of Photo Print Sheet. The Privacy Policy accompanies these Terms and describes data processing; it is not a blanket consent to optional processing. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected.
